Job Purpose or Summary:
To ensure the organization complies with internal policies and risk management best practices through regular internal audits, monitoring, and process evaluations
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead risk-based internal audits – plan, scope, and execute engagements (data analytics, testing, fieldwork) to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and core operational processes.
- Assess compliance – verify adherence to company policies, and relevant industry standards; maintain a live compliance-obligations register.
- Perform risk & control evaluations – identify control gaps, discrepancies, and potential fraud or financial irregularities; recommend pragmatic remediation actions.
- Report independently – draft clear audit reports and present key findings and root-cause analyses to the Board of Directors and senior leadership.
- Monitor remediation – track implementation of agreed actions, validate closure of findings, and drive continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Advise on risk strategy – partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement stronger risk-management practices, process improvements, and staff training where needed.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor‘s degree in Business or a related field
Professional major: Professional certification, such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is advanced
2nd language ability: Proficient in English in all skills
