POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Head of Data & AI to lead UrBox‘s data transformation journey and establish data as a strategic growth driver across the organization.

This role will be responsible for defining the company‘s Data & AI strategy, building scalable data foundations, enabling business intelligence, and driving AI adoption that enhances customer engagement, loyalty performance, operational efficiency and business growth.

Reporting directly to the Executive Leadership Team, the Head of Data & AI will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders while building and leading a high-performing Data & AI function that supports UrBox‘s next stage of growth.

MAIN RESPONSINILITIES

Data Strategy & Governance

  • Define and execute UrBox‘s enterprise Data & AI strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Establish data governance, quality, security and compliance standards across the organization.
  • Drive data literacy and foster a data-driven culture to support business decision-making.

Data Platform & Engineering

  • Lead the development and evolution of scalable data platforms, architectures and pipelines.
  • Ensure reliable, accessible and high-quality data across customer, merchant, campaign and transaction domains.
  • Build robust data foundations that enable analytics, automation and AI initiatives.

Business Intelligence & Customer Analytics

  • Deliver KPI frameworks, executive dashboards and self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Generate actionable insights across customer behavior, loyalty engagement, merchant performance and campaign effectiveness.
  • Drive initiatives that improve customer retention, reward utilization, campaign ROI and revenue growth.
  • Enable business teams to make faster and more informed decisions through trusted analytics.

AI & Customer Intelligence

  • Define and execute UrBox‘s AI roadmap with a focus on measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop capabilities in customer segmentation, personalization, recommendation systems and predictive analytics.
  • Identify and implement AI use cases that enhance customer experience, improve operational productivity and create competitive advantages.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and translate them into practical business applications.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing Data & AI organization.
  • Partner closely with Product, Technology, Commercial, Marketing and Operations leaders to deliver business impact.
  • Mentor team members and strengthen data capabilities across the company.

REQUIREMENT

  • 10+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering or related fields.
  • Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Master‘s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 5+ years leading high-performing data teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise data platforms, analytics capabilities and data-driven organizations.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership teams to drive strategic initiatives
  • Experience leading Data & Analytics functions in B2C, loyalty, rewards, fintech, e-commerce or customer engagement businesses is highly preferred.
