Job Purpose or Summary
UrBox is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to take on the Team Leader role for one of the five sales teams within the Voucher Business Unit, taking over the team’s existing client portfolio and industries while proactively developing new industries and customer segments. This position is reported directly to the Head of Voucher BU.
Main Responsibilities
1) Manage, lead, and develop the current sales team; take full ownership for achieving and exceeding the team’s sales targets and KPIs.
2) Directly develop and expand the team’s corporate client base within its existing industry, while researching and expanding into new industries and customer segments.
3) Build and maintain strong relationships with major corporate clients (key accounts), ensuring high retention and continued revenue growth from the existing customer base.
4) Train, coach, and develop team members’ capabilities; build a clear talent development and succession pipeline.
5) Develop business plans and allocate targets to individual team members; track, consolidate, and report on business results on a periodic basis (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to the Head of Voucher BU.
6) Analyze business data, identify operational bottlenecks within the team, and propose solutions to improve performance.
7) Collaborate with relevant departments (Operations, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure a smooth experience and seamless operations for customers
Requirements
1) Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field: Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar
2) 2nd language ability: Proficiency in English
3) Related experiences:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B Sales/Business Development, preferably in gifts, vouchers, loyalty, or a related industry
- Prior experience in a Leader/Manager role, with a track record of managing and developing a sales team
- Strong professional network and proven ability to proactively identify and acquire new corporate clients (“hunting”), combined with strong skills in maintaining existing client relationships (“farming”)
- Strong data orientation, with proficiency in analyzing business reports and managing team KPIs
